Suspensions were noticeably stiffer compared to the other ones I’ve had and it made the car quite a bit better... It’s far from at ease on those tortuous roads, but it’s A LOT better. So if you like JDM Galant VR4, here is the walk-around and test drive of one I spent the day with today :)
As usual, it’s for sale if anyone wants it ;)

the suspension on mine was pretty spongy, but I alwa ys just assumed that was due to age and ware. the worst part is there are hardly any Galant Specific suspensions out there, other than lowering springs, or modifying Evo 8 springs. Stock replacement parts don’ t exist, so you either have to lower it, not an option for me, cut up evo springs, or get adjustable coil overs.
R egular DSM parts wont work because the Galant is about 200 lbs heavier and all of that extra weight is on the rear, put Eclipse springs on a Galant and it’ll sag.

In Japan you can still get OEM size suspensions through KYB...

I could get struts but not springs. I could find lowering springs, but I didn’t want that
